As all we know a massive earthquake killed thousands in Nepal and India on 25 April 2015. The massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal with devastating force less than 50 miles from the capital, Kathmandu causing tremors in northern India as well.
According to Nepal’s UNESCO chief Christian Manhart, who has just completed a thorough assessment of the city, 60% of all heritage buildings were “badly damaged” in the quake. With them, a whole way of life has finally vanished.
That was the black day in the history of Nepal.
I express my humble condolences to Nepal Earthquake victims.
